1. Services

Halo Concepts provides custom web design and development services for small businesses. The specific scope of work, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for each project are confirmed in writing via email or a separate project agreement before work begins.

We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.

2. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes generated through our website are estimates based on the information provided. Final pricing is confirmed in writing before work commences. Quoted prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and do not include applicable taxes.

Prices are valid for 30 days from the date of the quote.

3. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• A 50% deposit is required before work begins
• The remaining 50% is due upon project completion, before files or login credentials are transferred
• Invoices unpaid after 14 days may incur a late fee of 2% per month on the outstanding balance

We accept e-transfer and major credit cards. Payment details are provided on your invoice.

4. Client Responsibilities

To deliver your project on time, we require you to:

• Provide all content (text, logos, images) by the agreed deadline
• Respond to review requests within 5 business days
• Designate a single point of contact for approvals

Delays caused by late content or feedback may push the delivery timeline, and we accept no liability for such delays.

5. Revisions

Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds as specified in your quote. Revisions beyond the included scope will be billed at our standard hourly rate, agreed upon in advance.

6. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of final payment, you own the website files, code, and design assets created specifically for your project. We retain the right to display the completed work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.

Any third-party assets used in your project (stock photography, icon libraries, fonts) remain subject to their respective licences. We will inform you of any licences you need to maintain.

We retain ownership of any proprietary tools, templates, or processes used in delivering your project that are not specific to your deliverables.

7. Hosting and Domain

Unless otherwise agreed, Halo Concepts does not provide ongoing hosting or domain registration. We will help you set up hosting and point your domain to the finished site, but ongoing hosting fees are your responsibility.

8. Limitation of Liability

Halo Digital Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim arising from a project shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that project.

We make no guarantee that a website will achieve specific business outcomes, search engine rankings, or conversion rates.

9. Cancellation

Either party may cancel a project with written notice. If you cancel after work has begun, you are responsible for payment of work completed to the date of cancellation. The deposit is non-refundable once work has commenced.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
